Updated with today's technology and materials, and a sleeker and thinner profile, this extraordinary Limited Edition, exclusively available in the U.S. in a controlled production run of 300 with the serial number engraved on each case-back, reimagines Seiko's 1965 diver's watch, the first made in Japan, with a water resistance, legibility and durability that made it standard equipment on the Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition (JARE), and propelled Seiko into the forefront of dive watch design.
Paying tribute to underwater archaeology, this reinterpretation features a light champagne sunray dial with a design inspired by ancient astrolabes, used to find latitude and time based on the position of the stars and the sun.
