With the strong, sleek lines of the Seiko Astron, the world’s first commercially available quartz watch, today’s Astron is designed for a new generation of leaders, breaking through to the future with excellence in both innovation and style. Drawing inspiration from the theme of space evoked by the name Astron, this breathtaking design reflects stars glowing brightly in the night sky, beautifully expressed on its light blue die-stamp patterned dial with a unique star motif.

Available only in a controlled-production run of 1,500, with the serial number engraved on each caseback, the distinctive Limited Edition combines extraordinary design with the highest degree of accuracy possible in a wristwatch. The 5X83 caliber offers high-speed GPS dual time and time zone adjustment to 39 time zones and is equipped with a chronograph that measures elapsed time in 1/20th second increments.

The movement also features an AM/PM indicator, daylight saving time function, power save function, perpetual day/date calendar correct to the year 2100, and a time transfer function that allows to user to switch the main time and dual time indications with the push of a button, all powered by light energy with no battery change required.

Framed by a titanium bezel with a black ceramic tachymeter insert, and topped with dual curved sapphire crystal with super-clear coating, the brilliant dial displays a date calendar, LumiBrite hands and markers and four subdials with a contrasting finish and a sporty vertical layout, a first for Seiko Astron.

Crafted of light and durable titanium with super-hard coating, this superb timepiece has a contemporary feel thanks to the sleek lines, slim profile, and the compact and angular design that seamlessly flows from the case to the bracelet and includes a secure screwdown caseback and tri-fold push button release clasp with smart-adjust function.
