Available only in a single run of 500, with the serial number engraved on each caseback, this extraordinary Limited Edition honors 1968's saturation diver. The watch also honors the role of Seiko timepieces as essential equipment for the Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition (JARE) in its daring explorations of such regions as the Skarvsnes, whose underwater forests inspired the green tones of this distinctive watch's patterned dial and ceramic bezel. Upgraded with the latest technology, this exceptional timepiece is powered by a Seiko Spring Drive movement, combining a 30-jewel automatic movement with a quartz regulator for accuracy to +/- 1 second per day, +/- 15 seconds per month. With a power reserve of approximately 72 hours, the movement can be wound manually or automatically. Crafted of light and durable titanium with a super-hard coating for nearly doubled hardness, this superbly reliable watch features a screwdown caseback and crown, as well as a tri-fold push button release clasp with secure lock and slide adjuster. The dial, framed by a one-way rotating elapsed timing bezel, includes a power reserve indicator, date calendar and LumiBrite hands and markers, and is topped by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal. 300m Water Resistant
