From the Presage Classic Series, this timepiece is named "Aijiro" for its light indigo dial, a color treasured during Japan's Edo period.
The dial texture draws inspiration from soft Japanese silk, a material interwoven into Japan's culture, with an intricately patterned curved surface that captures and reflects ambient light to create heightened depth and beauty. The 36mm case measures a modest 12.5mm thick with a 41.4mm lug-to-lug length, offering vintage-inspired proportions in stainless steel with super-hard coating. The tops of the applied indices curve to conform with the domed dial's rounded shape, while the minute and seconds hands bend gently toward the markers.
A dual-curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inner surface tops the dial, while a see-through screwdown caseback reveals the caliber 6R51 automatic movement. This 24-jewel movement beats at 21,600 vibrations per hour with an exceptional 72-hour power reserve and manual winding capability. A newly developed seven-link bracelet inspired by 1970s design features ergonomic curved top surfaces with reduced contact points for enhanced comfort and aesthetics. Generous 100-meter water resistance ensures daily durability.
