The 39mm stainless steel case is paired with a matching bracelet, and an extra GMT hand and steel 24-hour bezel allow for the easy tracking of an additional time zone. SBGN027 is rated to 200 meters, and features a screw down crown at the four o’clock position to ensure comfort and a dual-curve sapphire crystal for optimal clarity and durability. The exceptional finishing draws the eye, with Zaratsu-polished surfaces contrasting against hairline-finished areas throughout.
SBGN027 features a dynamic black sunray dial with monochromatic highlights. The hands and dial indexes have generous Lumibrite paint for excellent nighttime visibility.
Caliber 9F86 provides exceptional accuracy, with a rating of +/-10 seconds a year. The movement allows the wearer to adjust the hour hand without interrupting the high-accuracy timekeeping, a key feature of any reliable travel watch. Grand Seiko’s quartz movements are built to the same exacting standards as Grand Seiko’s mechanical and Spring Drive calibers, and they are crafted to be serviced by a trained watchmaker.
