The SBGN027 quartz GMT combines reliable performance with Grand Seiko’s distinct design philosophy to create an ideal travel companion. The 39mm stainless steel case is paired with a matching bracelet, and an extra GMT hand and steel 24-hour bezel allow for the easy tracking of an additional time zone. SBGN027 is rated to 200 meters, and features a screw down crown at the four o’clock position to ensure comfort and a dual-curve sapphire crystal for optimal clarity and durability.
The exceptional finishing draws the eye, with Zaratsu-polished surfaces contrasting against hairline-finished areas throughout. SBGN027 features a dynamic black sunray dial with monochromatic highlights. The hands and dial indexes have generous Lumibrite paint for excellent nighttime visibility.
Caliber 9F86 provides exceptional accuracy, with a rating of +/-10 seconds a year. The movement allows the wearer to adjust the hour hand without interrupting the high-accuracy timekeeping, a key feature of any reliable travel watch.
