Part of a rich legacy of innovation in high-intensity timekeeping, Prospex continues to celebrate a long history of sports watch excellence with re-creations and re-interpretations of landmark achievements. With contemporary styling and technology, this versatile timepiece reimagines Seiko's famed 1970 diver's watch, complete with the iconic case design that revolutionized underwater safety with a recessed crown creating a built-in crown guard at 4 o'clock. Inspired by the intricacies of glacial formation, this Special Edition is themed to evoke the ice of Arctic regions, including the North Pole, where legendary adventurers such as Naomi Uemura relied on Seiko diver's watches to meet every challenge, Today, it advances that unique history in support of the Seiko "Save the Ocean" campaign, dedicated to marine conservation.
