This colorway traces back to the 1990s, when designer Shigeo Sakai drew inspiration from his almond green Mini Cooper to create what would become the defining Alpinist aesthetic. The rich green dial features gold-tone Arabic numerals and wedge-shaped indices, creating warmth that perfectly complements the brown calf leather strap sourced from LWG-certified tanneries. Cathedral-style hands and generous LumiBrite application maintain the collection's legendary legibility, while the inner rotating compass bezel serves its original navigation purpose.
