King Seiko KSK Modern Re-Interpretation - SPB461 - Skeie's Jewelers

The SPB461 revives King Seiko's 1960s heritage in a perfectly proportioned 36.1mm case, making it the smallest model in the modern KSK collection.

This timepiece draws inspiration from Tokyo's Ivy League fashion movement of the 1960s, when King Seiko first made its mark, featuring a rich burgundy dial that evokes the rugby shirts and swing tops favored in that era. The sunray-brushed dial showcases applied faceted indices with a textured double-width marker at twelve o'clock, all treated with LumiBrite in a faux patina finish that harmonizes beautifully with the burgundy backdrop. A distinctive gold seconds hand adds traditional flair. Powered by the robust caliber 6R51, this 24-jewel automatic movement delivers an exceptional 72-hour power reserve.

The stainless steel case features the mirror polishing and hairline finishing characteristic of original King Seiko models, with sharp ridges and faceted lugs brushed at different angles. The bracelet includes an innovative double-lever system allowing tool-free strap changes. A box-shaped sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating and the King Seiko crest on crown and caseback complete this sophisticated revival.
