At just 12.3mm thick with a 41mm diameter and 46.9mm lug-to-lug measurement, this modern reinterpretation of the legendary 1968 6105-8000 diver wears like a dress watch but performs like a tool watch. The cushion-shaped case, crafted from stainless steel with Seiko's super-hard coating for enhanced scratch resistance, features the distinctive recessed crown at four o'clock that characterized the original. Inside beats the Caliber 6R35, a workhorse movement offering an impressive 70-hour power reserve alongside 21,600 vibrations per hour.
The black dial showcases vintage-inspired gilt accents on the hour markers and hands, creating a warm patina aesthetic that recalls dive watches of the 1960s. A curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating provides crystal-clear legibility, while the unidirectional rotating bezel tracks elapsed dive time. The newly developed compact tri-fold clasp includes both a secure lock and diver's extension for wearing over a wetsuit. LumiBrite ensures visibility in the depths, and the 200-meter water resistance meets ISO standards for professional diving.
