The silver and orange colour scheme, drawn from the broad stripe graphics of vintage race car liveries, gives this US-exclusive Seiko 5 Sports a warmer, more optimistic energy while retaining the same fundamental design logic: stripes running continuously from dial to coordinated nylon strap in one cohesive graphic statement.
The light silver aluminium uni-directional rotating bezel sets the tone, while the orange accented dial carries a day/date calendar at 3 o'clock, a blue seconds hand that contrasts cleanly against the lighter dial, and LumiBrite-treated hands and markers for low-light readability. The 42.5mm stainless steel case mirrors the SRPK71's brushed and polished finishing, with the crown at 4 o'clock for comfortable active wear and a screwdown see-through caseback revealing the Caliber 4R36 in motion.
