Seiko's 1968 Heritage Diver's GMT reimagines the brand's landmark 1968 professional dive watch with upgraded 300-meter water resistance following ISO standards.
The 42mm stainless steel case with super-hard coating measures 13.3mm thick with a sub-49mm lug-to-lug length, featuring the cushion-style profile and strong shoulders characteristic of late 1960s Seiko design. A glossy blue ceramic insert adorns the unidirectional bezel with a 60-minute diving scale and luminous triangle marker at zero. The sunray-brushed silvery-white dial showcases oversized faceted hour markers filled with LumiBrite, a red central 24-hour GMT hand, and a date window at 4:30.
The caliber 6R54 movement features an independently adjustable GMT hand in caller-style configuration, allowing dual time zone tracking with a 72-hour power reserve. A highlight is the innovative six-step micro-adjustment clasp offering 15mm of on-the-fly extension—perfect for wearing over wetsuits or adapting to wrist changes throughout the day. The screw-down crown at 4 o'clock and domed sapphire crystal with inner anti-reflective coating complete this functional design.
