This landmark timepiece introduces Seiko's first-ever mechanical GMT movement in a diver's watch, the Caliber 6R54.
Delivering an industry-leading 72-hour power reserve, the longest of any Seiko mechanical watch. Paying homage to the groundbreaking 1968 diver that established Seiko's reputation in professional dive watches, this 42mm reinterpretation balances heritage design with cutting-edge functionality. The 24-jewel automatic movement allows the GMT hand to be set independently in one-hour increments without stopping the timekeeping hands, providing instant second-timezone visibility. The black dial, framed by a Made-in-Japan black ceramic unidirectional bezel with knurled edge, features a distinctive gold GMT hand alongside generous LumiBrite markers and hands.
The stainless steel case with super-hard coating resists scratches and daily wear, while the newly designed three-link bracelet with slim profile ensures comfortable wear through its low center of gravity. A tri-fold clasp with secure lock includes an extender for over-wetsuit wear. The anti-reflective sapphire crystal and screwdown crown and caseback maintain 200-meter ISO dive certification, while the exhibition back reveals the sophisticated movement architecture.
